Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization to identify a Payroll Specialist for their growing team.

What You'll Do

• Process multi-cycle payroll accurately and timely
• Maintain employee payroll records and data
• Review timekeeping information and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Process payroll-related deductions, garnishments, and benefits
• Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with reporting
• Support audits and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation
• Partner with HR and Accounting to address payroll questions and issues

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of payroll processing experience required
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
• Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience in a nonprofit environment is a plus
